Meal Planning Monday – 1st April 2013

Just sitting around on Easter Monday waiting for my groceries to be delivered so I thought I’d post about my weekly meal plan.  My handwriting really is appalling!

Weekly Meal Plan

We’ve done nothing but eat all weekend, so tonight we are just having soup for dinner.  I really can’t face much more than that.

As it’s school holidays our 5 year old will be eating with us most nights, so our menu is a little less adventurous than normal.

As usual the majority of it will be done in the Slow Cooker.  If the recipes turn out you will be able to find them on my other blog Slow Cooker Queen.

Fingers crossed everything arrives.  Have a great week!

I like the blackboard idea. I need to start meal-planning. Always so full of good intentions but never quite get there. Like your variety.

The blackboard is a sticker and you can personalize it….I got it from Not on the High Street. It’s been so helpful in keeping me organised.

Honestly, we save a lot of money and waste. Hubby said this week, there is nothing left, about an hour before our next delivery…this is what I want.

I think your writing is lovely! I know just what you mean about eating all weekend. I had cereal for my tea!

Your chicken tagliatelle is a massive hit in our house! Thank you!!

We’re trying tangy meatballs next for the non-adventerous kids.

    Have a fab week!!

The tangy meatballs are fab, but go easy on the chilli sauce. :-)

I love that wall sticker, what a great idea! Have you got a link?

      Hi Helen,

I bought it from Not on the High Street. I see they are now on special offer for £15 and you can personalize the message at the top. http://www.notonthehighstreet.com/spincollective/product/custom-name-chalkboard-wall-sticker My only advice is not to put it up after a glass of wine, mine is slightly squiffy. :-)

Getting withdrawal symptoms from Spag bol as I just don’t have time after work to make it (OH likes it cook all afternoon in the aga), or get it ready before work to then cook all day. Will have to save it up for a weekend some time.
