I can’t believe I’d never heard of the comedian Michael McIntyre, he is so funny. Here’s his routine on Man Drawers.
Do you have a Man Drawer in your house? We do…..you never know when you’re going to need that old mobile phone, strimmer string, padlock or radiator key??
Eh-vree time, I try a new recipe it always calls for some obscure (well obscure to me) spice that I don’t have in the cupboard so I toodle of to Sainsbury’s and buy it. This has led to a cupboard with 25+ spices in it. I’m sure there are doubles, possibly triples, but I haven’t bothered sorting them.
What makes it worse is every time I need a spice I now have to empty out the entire contents of the cupboard as the one I want is always at the very back. This is one of pet hates.
So, I’ve decided to do something about it. I don’t have any counter top space for a spice rack, or a space to hang one on the wall, nor do I have space to position one inside of a cupboard. So, I have decided to go for magnetic spice jars and stick them to the cooker hood. It was a bit of a challenge, but I eventually found some at Sainsbury’s £6 for a pack of 9.
