Disclosure Policy

Wow, things have changed since I last wrote a Disclosure Policy in 2010.  So it’s about time I updated this one.  This is valid from 25 March 2013.

On occasion, I accept products/experiences for review purposes and will run competitions for an administration fee.  If I have received anything (product, cash or experience) in return for a post on the blog, I will clearly disclose this, normally in the body of the text to comply with the Internet Advisory Bureau.  If you have no idea what I’m talking about you may want to familiarise yourself with this document:

ISBA Guidelines on the Payment for Editorial Content to Promote Brands within Social Media July 2012

To comply with Google’s Terms and Conditions, if I have accepted a product in return for a post, all links will carry the no follow attribute.

If, on the rare occasion, I have accepted a sponsored, guest or featured post in return for payment, I will have normally written the article myself, it will be an honest opinion and I will endeavor to share useful information.  These posts will be clearly marked.

If it’s still of interest, please do get in touch.
