May you live long enough….

When I made this card for my husband 3 years ago, for his 40th birthday, I thought it was hilarious.  I had tears running down my face with laughter.  But, now it has come back to haunt me.  I’ve seen things in the last few weeks that no human should ever have to unless you are a paid professional! ;-)

  1. Sounds like a testing day. Its funny isnt it. How when our parents get older the tables turn. No longer are we the children, suddenly we are responsible. We have to parent them. xx

  3. You poor thing. It's so difficult isn't it. You have my sympathy. I worked as a nurse aide through high school and University, wiping up bums and changing draw sheets. I even watched a couple of elderly patients die. It was a wake up call. I know how horrible it is to all of a sudden be dealing with your own relatives' demise. xx
