Madame had her first ever ski lesson this morning courtesy of The Snow Centre. Even though I’m Canadian, I was secretly hoping she wouldn’t like it as it’s one of those sports, like horse riding, that may require a second mortgage! However, she absolutely loved it! At the end of her lesson she demanded more and tried to make a break for the big slope!
A special thanks to Ali Fischer, the Marketing Assistant, at the Snow Centre for such a warm welcome and to Nicole for being and ever so patient Instructor.
I can’t wait till she turns 4 so I can get her into lessons. Shhh, don’t tell hubby!
The music is by Blues Traveller one of my favourite bands.
Love it! Those little boots, oh my. Should start her on snowboarding though, much more fun!
Unfortunately, have to be 7+ to snowboard. Great fun though.
Oh I want a go now!
Seriously good fun! Go for it!
How exciting, we were there last weekend for a kids party. JJ loved the ringos. I stupidly wore totally inappropriate shoes and was surpirsed when the snow was cold on my feet!! OK so blonde, I know!

I lucked out as they supply everything….all I need was socks and gloves!
Didn’t realise there was a new indoor ski place in Hemel, will have to check it out. We took eldest to the one in Tamworth for lessons before we went skiing earlier this year – definitely recommend it for anyone that might be considering it!
I’d driven by the sign loads of times and had never ventured down. It’s really easy to find and really well sign posted.
Rushes to Hemel Ski Centre, didnt realise it was so good!
Being Canadian, I was pleasantly surprised…when I was standing at the bottom I thought…WTF? But then when I got to the top…it was much steaper than it looked!
