How to cook an ‘effing’ good steak Gordon Ramsay Style

A few years back we saw Gordon Ramsay cooking steak on the TV.  My husband has now taken the recipe on as his own signature dish.  I think the trick is the glazing of the steaks!  Enjoy!

  1. Ok, a few tips to make this even better. Olive oil the steaks rather than the pan, sear in an ovenproof frying pan for a couple of minutes each side for medium rare then transfer to the oven for 5 minutes at 200 degrees, take steaks out and wrap in foil, leave to stand for 5 minutes. This stops all the blood coming out of the steaks on the plate when you cut into them.
